Franciacorta: land of hills, endless fields, ancient vineyards and sparkling wines with a strong flavor. If you find yourself passing through Lombardy, in the Brescia area or have a trip on Lake Iseo in mind, stop to admire the beauty of this enchanted territory.

Known for the production of its wines, Franciacorta has a past rich of history, and the cultivation of vines has very ancient origins. The findings of prehistoric stilt houses denote how some primitive populations settled in this territory, while we have traces of vineyards cultivated in Franciacorta since Roman times. Thanks to a favorable climate and soil, viticulture in these lands never stopped.

The production of the most famous Franciacorta, but also of other wines, attract tourists and wine lovers from all over the world for most of the year, but if there is a perfect time to enjoy the wonders of this beautiful area, it’s summer.

From 19 May to 8 September 2019, you can in fact participate to the Franciacorta Summer Festival, spending a relaxing holiday between lakes and hills, discovering numerous events and infinite entertainment proposals, which you can alternate with visits to the cellar and food and wine tours. Among the outdoor activities you can enjoy guided itineraries on foot, by bicycle or quad bike suitable for everyone, families with children or wine tourists who want to get to know Franciacorta up close. The more adventurous can also try piloting on the skies of Franciacorta to admire a breathtaking view! For the occasion, four historic houses exceptionally open their doors to revive the fascinating eighteenth-century nobility and will offer a taste of Franciacorta Rosé.

Tastings, excursions, exhibitions: then art, music, events, concerts ... a perfect mix for a simply unforgettable experience.
