The province of Brescia combines natural beauty and historical and artistic attractions.

This area's most important scenic attractions include Lake Garda, Lake Iseo and Lake Idro, and the Camonica, Trompia and Sabbia Valleys, not to mention the green hills of Franciacorta.

The Camonica Valley is home to 180 towns dotted around 24 municipalities, and boasts rock carvings that have been named a UNESCO world heritage site.

Brescia is also home to the Mille Miglia (“Thousand Miles”), the annual vintage car race that has made the city famous the world over.

• The Santa Giulia Museum, telling the story of the city's history dating back over 3,000 years: another stunning addition to the list of UNESCO world heritage sites.
• The Capitolino Temple, the Old Cathedral, the New Cathedral , the Broletto palace, the Palazzo della Loggia, the Castle and the Teatro Grande theatre.
• Boario Terme, the Sabbia Valley and Gottolengo, as well as Sirmione and Desenzano which are both gorgeous towns on Lake Garda. Sirmione is home to the Scaliger Castle and the Catullo Thermal Baths and Desenzano boasts a 16th century cathedral and a characteristic ancient site.
