Abertis group and UNICEF support children: the agreement to support road safety for children and teenagers

Car safety is essential, especially when it comes to children and teenagers. In many countries traffic accidents are unfortunately among the main causes of mortality during school age.

Protecting the little ones is for us a value and a commitment: our Group is in fact officially active with UNICEF, the main organization for the protection of children's rights in the world, in an international project for the development of road accident prevention policies.

To contribute to the development of prevention policies, the project, which counts an investment of one million dollars per year for three years of interventions, will initially be promoted directly by Abertis in favor of UNICEF in the Philippines and Jamaica, and subsequently expanded with specific projects in Europe, too.

This is the first and largest agreement to have been achieved internationally on road safety for children. We are very proud and honored to be able to contribute with our commitment to the safety of children all over the world.
